Admission Process

For Nigerian students who wish to study dentistry in Sweden, here are the general admission requirements:

  • For a first degree in dentistry: A good secondary school certificate (WAEC or NECO/GCE or their international  equivalent) with a high score in the science subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics) with English as a necessity ;
  • For a master’s degree in any branch of dentistry: A bachelor’s degree in dentistry is required, plus a written CV, statement of purpose, and letter of good conduct from a previous teacher.

Student Visa Process

You will need a student visa to study in Sweden as an international student. Since Sweden is a member of the EU, you will apply for a Schengen visa, which allows you to travel across the entire European Union. Apply at the nearest Swedish embassy or consulate in your home country with the following documents:

  • International passport (with at least six months validity period)
  • Completed application form
  • Health insurance
  • Clean police report
