Requirements for ICAN Registration 2022

To register for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), you require the following:

1. A university degree or a Higher National Diploma from an ICAN-approved Polytechnic.
2. An O’level results with at least five (5) credits
3. A recent passport photograph is also required.

How to Register for ICAN: ICAN Exam Fee 2022

There are three ways you can register for ICAN, these are;

3. Finally, you can register as a member.

How to Register for ICAN as a Professional Student

To register for ICAN as a professional student, follow the procedures below:

1. Pay the professional examination registration fee of 7,000 (excluding any charges) at any commercial bank in Nigeria using Pay Direct. You can also make a payment through the ICAN website.
2. Once you’ve paid the fee, go to the website listed on your receipt and register.
3. Get a colored passport photograph of yourself as well. Scan it and enter the information into the registration form.

5. You will be required to provide a chartered accountant sponsor/referee. Enter their name, membership number, and contact information into the required columns.
6. Submit your completed application to your sponsor/referee so they can certify it.

How to Register for ICAN (Step-to-step Procedure)

To register for ICAN by yourself, follow the instructions below:

1. Obtain a Zenith/Fidelity Bank PIN voucher from any Zenith bank branch close to you.
2. Use the information on the PIN voucher to log in to the ICAN website, which is written on the voucher you purchased from the bank.
3. Select Students’ Professional Registration and fill out the form with your information.
4. Get a colored passport photo of yourself as well. And then scan the passport photo on the form.
5. Click submits twice to submit the application online.
6. Make a copy of the application form.
7. Include your signature as well.
8. Find a chartered accountant to serve as your referee/sponsor.
9. Include his/her membership number, name, and phone number as well.
10. Give your Referee/Sponsor a photocopy of your credentials and a printed copy of your completed application form for certification.
11. Attach the following documents:Jamb Portal

• Two copies of signed/certified passport.
• Original copy of the bank teller.
• The completed form on the net

12. Now send the documents and application forms to ICAN’s head office in Lagos for consideration.

What is the ICAN Exam Fee 2022?

To take the ICAN exam, you will be required to pay a non-refundable fee to the bank. However, registering with AAT result will require you to pay N23,000 as an exam fee to the bank.

Also, make sure you get a Pin/Voucher from the bank as well as your scanned passport. In addition, applicants must stamp the application with a postage stamp obtained from the post office.
