1.) M & E Officer – Governance

Location: Nigeria

Qualifications

Degree in Statistics, Computer Science/IT/, Geography or any other related field.
Experience working on urban resilience and developmental programming, and at least two year experience working in monitoring and evaluation;
Excellent computer skills are required (particularly Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access and Word);
Strong data collection, analysis, and report writing skills required.
Ability to work independently, think analytically and take initiative in solving problems.
Ability to communicate technical issues effectively.
Familiarity with log frame analysis and M&E plan.
Experience in conducting assessment.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Hausa is required. Additional fluency in Fulfulde is a plus.
Most importantly, commitment to IRC values and principles.
A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with groups of diverse backgrounds.
Full professional competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Minimum of 2 years working experience in Governance programming with focus on developmental programming, climate change and peacebuilding.
Community Engagement and entry experience
Experience of working in the Northeast.
Experience of coordination and engagement with stakeholders at both community and government levels. Skills in advocacy essential
Ability to function in a team especially field teams in a challenging environment
Ability and willingness to live and work in a challenging environment
Good communication skills (written and verbal), cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player, fluency in English and Hausa languages, fluency in Fulfulde is a plus.
