2023 JAMB Result is out on JAMB Portal. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been released 2022/2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result. The result is now available on JAMB portal – portal.jamb.gov.ng. 

All candidates who took part in.the examination should proceed to the official jamb efacility portal to check their results and wait for their schools of choice to come up with the cut.off mark and admission commencement.

About JAMB

The joint admission and matriculation board (jamb) is a board that conducts entrance examinations for incoming undergraduates into Nigeria University.

It is an entrance examination board set for tertiary-level institutions. The responsibility of the board is to administer similar examinations for prospective candidates into the.Nigerian private and public polytechnics, monotechnics and college of educations.

To register for joint admissions and matriculations board (jamb), candidates must have obtained the west Africa school certificate now called west African examinations council (WAEC) or.National Examination Council (Nigeria).NECO.

The unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME) conducted by the joint admission and matriculation board (jamb) has been written by candidates and more are still writing.   1. Visit the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board.(JAMB) result checking portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults.
  2. Supply your Registration Number/Email Address in the required column check jamb result with registration number
  3. Click on the ‘Check My Results’ button to access your UTME results notification
  4. If your result is ready, the portal will return your JAMB Notification of Result. You can then proceed with the printing of the result.

How to Check JAMB Result Online Via SMS

All candidates can now send UTME.RESULT, via SMS, to.55019 using the same number that was used for registration (you must have a credit balance of at least.N50 on your line). The result would be replied to you as an SMS shortly after.check jamb result with phone number

The following are the responses to be expected:

  1. If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, a message will be sent to him thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
  2. A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
  3. If a result is withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidate.
  4. If a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
  5. If a candidate was absent, s/he would get “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback
  6. A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
  7. “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.

How to Print Original JAMB Result Slip

The JAMB result slip cost N1,000 (one thousand naira only) and it comes with passport photography affixed to it. Candidates who need to print their results slips are advised to visit the JAMB E-facility portal and then follow the procedures outlined.
