Wizkid Comes Under Attack After Missing His Show At Ghana

The crowd at the Accra Sports Stadium were left in shock and disappointment at 4am today when the technical team began dissembling some of the equipment on stage at the ‘Wizkid live’ music concert without addressing the crowd; as they waited indefinitely for Wizkid to mount the stage since 4pm. Some fans requested a refund while others asked for another show with Wizkid despite being entertained by some artistes advertised to perform on the show.

After Dj Tunez took over with a live band with saxophonists and trumpeters at 3:05 am, and began asking the fans to cheer if they were here to see Wizkid, the mood in the stadium became energized as the crowd responded to his mixes. But, as his mixes began to take longer than expected, the crowds enthusiasm began to die down. Then, at 3:47am, Dj Tunez screamed twice “the promoter fucked up” over Black Sherif’s song ‘kwaku the Traveller’. This is when the rumor that Wizkid wouldn’t be performing due to the ‘below standard’ attendance began circulating.

A fan threatened that his money needs to be refunded because even if the organizer was to reorganize the ‘Wizkid live’concert, he wouldn’t attend. Another fan complained about holding the m in the stadium for that long without any proper communication to inform them about WizKid’s development.

The multiple award winning musician is yet to post an update or apology on any of his social media platforms regarding his absence at the concert. Also, the organizer is yet to release an on WizKid’s absence.
