MIUI 12.5 is installed as the operating system for POCO, which is optimally matched to the Xiaomi devices and is therefore very easy to use. It is based on Android 11 , which makes it very flexible and individually adjustable. So you can easily design the smartphone as you like and also have individual operation.

Always well connected

The Poco X3 GT also has the usual standards in the mobile communications sector. This includes WLAN ac and NFC. There is also a dual SIM function, which means that this smartphone can also be used as a company mobile phone. In the meantime, 5G should not be missing in new mobile phones and the Poco X3 GT is of course also equipped with it.

You can find everything you need to know about 5G in our article: 5G – the most important questions and facts .

The battery impresses with a great capacity of 5000 mAh . But not only the capacity is impressive, the quick charge function is also impressive. With 67 watts , the smartphone is fully charged within 42 minutes. This puts the Xiaomi Poco X3 GT at the top of the list of fast-charging phones.

Timeless design on Xiaomi Poco X3 GT

On the front of the device, nothing distracts from the huge display, which extends over 6.6 inches without borders . Only on the upper edge there is a small punch hole in the middle in which the front camera is hidden. The LC display can increase the refresh rate to 120 Hertz so that image transitions are very smooth even when playing and scrolling. The whole thing can be seen in full HD + resolution, rich in detail and in natural colors.

The display is of course made of glass and protected with Gorilla Glass Victus . So scratches and broken glass are a thing of the past. The back is made of plastic and is very good and comfortable to hold. It is kept very simple and available in three colors: Cloud White, Stargaze Black and Wave Blue. You only find a small Poco lettering and the camera, which is located in a rectangle in the upper left corner. In addition, the mobile phone is certified with IP53 , so it has protection against splash water.

Multifaceted triple camera on Xiaomi Poco X3 GT

The camera just mentioned, located on the back, contains three sensors. It is housed in a rounded rectangle in black and silver and thus blends in perfectly with all three colors.

The first camera takes wide-angle shots with a resolution of 64 megapixels . There is also a wide-open aperture with ƒ / 1.8. This not only creates images that are rich in detail, but also extremely bright. Second, there is an ultra-wide-angle lens . With a particularly large viewing angle, you can also record a lot of content, which is ideal for panoramas or group photos. These photos are resolved in 8 megapixels. Third, there is a macro sensor with two megapixels, which is more likely to be located as a supplement or gimmick due to the low resolution.

The front camera, on the other hand, cuts a really good figure with its 16 megapixels . It is suitable for selfies, videos for social media or for video telephony. So the camera is just as good as we know and appreciate it from Chinese manufacturers.

All around, the Xiaomi Poco X3 GT is quite impressive. It convinces with a fast processor, a lot of RAM and otherwise decent performance, including a lot of battery power and fast charging. The large display is also a lot of fun, as is the triple camera with its many facets.
